my trek to smart ict seminar

May 19, 2008 when I received a text message from mam Joy informing me about this seminar. I volunteered myself to join this seminar because I was very interested to know and learn more about this program. She readily agreed telling me that I have to include another teacher. Good enough I recommended my former student who is more knowledgeable and who monitors our ICT laboratory. I informed my principal about this and she agreed immediately and so I have to send the confirmation through email. Then several communications followed.

May 26, 2o08. All participants from Luzon cluster were welcomed and introduced by Mam Joy Lapuz. After which we immediately explored the web. At first it was really a nosebleed on my part especially that I have limited experience on the web. But with persistence and patience because of a slow response of the connectivity I have a hard time following the lecture. Added stress on my part that outputs were under time pressure. In order to cope with the time alloted to finish the required output I have to eat lunch faster and proceeded immediately to the lab inorder to complete the required task.

I would like to commend the lecturer-facilitator who is alone monitoring all the participants who are also "makukulit" like me. Earlier this morning, as if I would like to backed out already but because of my interest, later thsi afternoon, I'm glad that I can already follow the activity and find myself at least has an edge of the other participants. And so I am looking forward for a more fruitful accomplishment as this seminar goes on.

Thank you for Smart schools so we can bring back all these knowledge and share with our colleagues back home.
